Hey guys i did my first workout in a month yesterday ( i started the begginners program) and i am very sore all over and im doing another workout tommorrow, just wondering if its safe to do another set of 3 squats if my quads are still sore from my previous workout?

your just getting back used to it... maybe you pushed yourself too hard? try them out, if you cant perform them without keeping good form, then leave them...
Same thing happened to me, 2 weeks off and quads were wrecked for about 4 days..
 
After having a hot shower I turn off the hot and just shower under cold water. Haven't had any muscle soreness since I started this a week ago.
