Just to clarify PA lifters can compete in gym meets as long as they are not organised by or affiliated with a powerlifting organisation other than the IPF or another organisation which does not maintain an anti-doping policy substantially similar to WADA.
So there's nothing I'm aware of stopping someone having a go at one of Ben's comps and deciding to compete with PA later if they find they enjoy the sport.
OK people, We all know the situation with Powerlifting Aus by now. If you would like to debate the merits & technicalities of this one fed rule please do so in your own thread, PLA is not interested in politics.
Lifting isn't about busting records, it's about lifting. I honestly don't understand why people think it's only worth lifting if your going to win/smash records. I've had an amazing experience competing and beating my own PBs, even if other lifters smash me.
