Last night, had pork shoulder marinated for 24hrs in a special blend of spices, then slow cooked for 10hrs, served with roasted veggies, was amazing.
Today already have potatoes, brown lentils, carrots, chorizo and brown onion, slow cooking in chicken stock with added apple cider vinegar and a little bit of brown sugar, been going since about 10:00am, should be ready around 6pm tonight.
Can't wait it's one of my favourite recipes. It's good with home made sour dough bread with real butter, not sure I I will be bothered with the bread though, will see if I have time to make it....
Unfortunately back to work tomorrow after a few days off so no more gourmet meals, back to basics.
