Phenomenal Fullness!

Fadi

...
Check out the shoulders and the fullness of the arms on this giant. British Pakistani bodybuilder Zack "King" Khan is simply awesome in my opinion.

Let's just enjoy the massive arms and delts this guy has created and not worry about weather he's natural or not.
We all know he isn't.

aye shrek he using a bit of synthol?

Im leaning that way :D The muscle bellies are bloated with little definition. There are little striations on em.
his delts/arms overshadow his legs which are under-par. (lack of outer leg sweep and undefined tear drop development)

oh wait were here to judge his arms ..
Still massive freakish arms nevertheless. He must drink at least 10L of milk a day.

I don't see the results of drug abuse as enjoyable.

It's like climbing Everest naked. Nice effort, stupid execution, and admirable, not so much.

As I've said before, it's when people go beyond human limits like this guy, that's what puts people off physical training. When someone says, "I won't train heavy because I don't want to look like a bodybuilder," it's this kind of guy they've got in mind.

Guys like this do harm, not good, to the sport of bodybuilding and to the fitness of the public generally.

Lack of striations because the first pics are out of comp pics. The contest pis does show lack of definition for a top level comp, he seems to have missed his peak.
Synthol? More than likely.

Possibly a bit of synthol

There's a big difference between steroid use & abuse. Isn't the point of steroids to become bigger & better than genetics allow?

Not really, these guys want to go further than their genetic limitin a short amount of time.

They are corageous, fearless and or stupid (take your pick) putting all that stuff into their bodies.

I had no intention of comparing Zack to anyone taking or not taking steroids when I decided to share this thread with you. I simply admired the fullness of his arms and was not particularly judgmental about whatever else.

I remember putting Tom Platz up at one time but the response there and then was certainly different and full of admiration about the giant legged legend. So does anyone here see any difference between this man and say Arnold or anyone else that has gone before him?

When the public stops demanding to see lion and tigers instead of pussycats gracing our zoos, then the aspiration to jump higher and further, lift bigger and look bigger may seize to exist. I've got a strong feeling we all want to see the big cats strut their stuff for years to come yet...

Kyle, I fully understand where you’re coming from with your Mount Everest comment. You say:

I have a somewhat different view from you there Kyle. This man and many men like him are bodybuilders; they are not weight trainers or fitness seekers. It is up to the individual to learn about the difference or the responsibility in this case may fall on the shoulders of a PT such as your good self to educate the ignorant about the difference between bodybuilding and weight training. Just as there is a difference between weightlifting and weight lifting, so does a difference between bodybuilding and weight lifting exists.

Fadi, I have to agree with your comment regarding the individual learning the difference of Bodubuilding and weight training. I know when i started lifting all of my friends and family expected me to turn out looking like an Arnold or Ronnie. It has taken a long time for me to teach them the difference between someone who weight trains and a bodybuilder.

I have found the fastest and easiest way to get people to understand is show them a pictures of oly lifters like Ivan Stoitsov and say this is natural, then show them a bodybuilder like ronnie and say this is roids.

Thank you toasted,

Now before someone has a go at you here re Stoitsov; the Champion was also on the gear. However the reason Olympic weightlifters look the way they do in comparison to bodybuilders is because we don't train for muscular hypertrophy but emphasise strength and power instead by using very low repetitions in the range of 1-5. At this rep level, the lifter develops plenty of muscle density but not much muscle (again in comparison to a bodybuilder).

It's basically a case of sarcoplasmic vs. myofibrillar hypertrophy: Muscle hypertrophy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Now having said the above, I really do understand where you're coming from Toasted. After all, looking at a world champion like Stoitsov in comparison to a local bodybuilding Champion is enough to convince Mr. and Mrs. Average that (as you've said) one is on the gear and the other is simply weight training; but you and I know better now...

The reality is as with all proffessional sponsored sport it is show business.
None of which are healthy pursuits.

More often than not these incredibly gifted athletes are the way they in spite of how they train rather than because of it.

Drugs are in all sporting codes.
