Bulk Nutrients 2014 overhead press comp and forum best list

This thread is for overhead press lifts, push press or press, just get it up. I will make a number of lists for different types of overhead lifts.

You can clean it first, or just do lift it from a rack.

Clips of feat must be attached.

Will post Wilks scores for military press and push press.
http://www.powerliftingaustralia.com/WilksFormulaCalculator.htm

We are having a 2014 comp for both lifts decided by Wilks score (prizes from Bulk Nutrients for both lifts based on score).

I clean it up, lifting out of a rack just doesn't work for me
I'm piss weak over head can only do 62.5kg not even worth a video.

Will max out tomorrow and post a video, will be a hideous combo of push press military jerk snatch but itll go overhead :P

take your time and do it when you are fresh and ready; don't hurt yourself.

Oni's is near bodyweight, probably a good idea to list your bodyweight and weight lifted.

My clean is what held me back, with a shitty non spinning bar and no bumper plates i C&J 105.

Will be introducting a day of olympic lifting into my training next cycle, too much powerlifting and bodybuilding is boring.

yes, mix it up. just go sparingly on heavy olympic lifts, and work on speed and technique.

Your powerlifts will keep you strong for them, especially squats.

We all set goals, but if I was to prefer one in 2014, it would be to get over 100kg clean and push press at under 90kg bodyweight.

Nothing special, but I would be very happy after bad run of injuries since late 2011.

I think that one was equal to my body weight at the time
I've since strict pressed my body weight lol, so should easily be able to get a +80kg push press

my goal for 2014 is to bench bw x 5, which no doubt mean my overhead press will be improving also. my current bw is 100kg if I could get somewhere around 80-85kg push press hopefully.

it is a pity those 5 lift comps are gone, no belt.

I did one (late 2011), with a fracture in my femur, albeit I did not know then. Power cleaned 112.5kg that day (if I remember right)

I am going to list best lifts on first post, those with clips.

My best press (not push) so far is 85 for a single. Next time I go heavy with that lift, I'll see if I can get some video of it. Should be doing bw press by then.

I don't do push press, jerk, that sort of stuff.
