Police have charged a 35-year-old registered nurse with four counts of murder following a fire that killed four elderly people at a nursing home in Sydney's west.
The fire broke out at the facility on Hambledon Road, Quakers Hill, at about 5am (AEDT) on Friday.
Three residents died in the blaze, while 32 others were taken to a number of Sydney hospitals.
Fifteen of them were admitted to the intensive care units at Royal North Shore and Concord Hospitals, and a fourth person died late on Friday afternoon.
Following extensive inquiries by detectives, a man was arrested on Friday night.
