I know I started this thread a few months back but some shit happened between then and now, anyway I've worked out a good deal with little bloke on a force usa rack and bench 168kg bar and weight package a calf block and some rubber gym flooring.
is there any thing else you guys and gal's think I should grab while im there?
and those of you with gym flooring how big of an area do you have covered around your rack and how do you find it?
4 x 1m squares will cover under the rack and directly around it, then its a matter of how much extra you want. I've got another 4 x 1m next to the first lot when I do all my stuff that's not in the cage.

In terms of set up, different brand but that's all I got when i set mine up a few months back. Mine had dip bar and chins which i also like.
My view is to keep it simple and just get enough so i can do the key compound movements. Once i have built up on those to a reasonable level, to something like Markos' "beginner" levels in another thread, then i'll start worring about other equipment and exercises. Until then i don't see much point.
I got 6x1m rubber mats which gives me enough to put out the front of cage and do deads.
As Birdman says 4x1 is fine if you just want to cover the cage.
