New bench?

Eventually I will be buying a new bench. Preferably an olympic one. I was wondering though how much weight my current bench would handle?

Its a Dynafit bench, its pretty ordinary and over 15 years old. Whats the worst that could happen if I am lifting too much?

I would suspect any actual bench failure would be catastrophic as any metal fold would further reduce strength and cause at least partial collapse...

however highly unlikely....

I'm looking at this bench from Gym Direct.....

I'm also liking the look of this for something different.........

It will tae me a while to break the bench i'm sure. Will keep trying and let everyone know the results.
