I experimented with my diet for about a year by reading a whole lot of articles and talking to a nutritionist. The breakfast I created even surprised the nutritionist. I found it works well for me and keeps me going all morning.
Best part for me is, I drink the whole thing! I really don't like eating in the morning. I'd rather drink my breakfast.
This, well I suppose you can call it a shake, 3/4 fills my glass 2 litre beer stein (and the shake is the only liquid it's used for. I stopped drinking alcohol 5 years ago).
I then down 2 fish oil caps with a Berocca. Incidentally, those two constitute my supplement kit.
If you're like me and don't enjoy eating solid food first thing in the morning, then why not chuck it all into a blender instead!

- 1 whole free range or barn laid egg
- about 400 mls of skim milk
- 3/4 cup egg whites (works out to be around 6 to 8 eggs worth)
- 1 cup frozen mixed berries
- 1 tablespoon psyllium husks (to absorb cholesterol. Mine is quite high)
- 1 banana
