Muscle numbness

Hi I have decided with school out of the way to start weight training again. I have invested in gymdirect muscle motion powerrack to avoid the inconvenience of traveling to the local gym.

I noticed after the first few sets of both Good Mornings and Close grip pushdowns, my muscle starts to shake and begin to become numb, losing my strength gradually. Instead of feeling the usual burn on my tricep muscle, is this numbness normal? Also it begins to feel tight as well. Is this also normal?

thanks

Sounds like it could just be lactic acid buildup which is normal if you were doing higher reps and the tightness you mention may well be feeling the pump in the muscle.

You sure you're not getting a good pump?

lol I remember the first time i got a good pump in my lower back from deadlifts, I actually freaked out and thought something was wrong.

well i wouldnt say it has the same burning sensation i feel when pushing millitary press or bicep curls. It just feels really numb and like I'm losing strength in my arms (triceps) as i perform further sets.
