Mountain biking Riding uphill
*Stand Up When going up a steep hill standing up allows you to put a lot more pressure, or torque on the pedals.
* Lean use your weight When your back wheel is spinning shift your weight back to get more traction. Shift your weight forward if the front wheel starts lifting
*Use your handlebars They can be used to apply moretorque to your pedalling stroke, and gives you better balance.
If a hill looks too steep get off of your bike and walk it up. The same goes for obstacles if a part of the trail makes you uncomfortable get off your bike and walk it
