Or see another doctor!!
Sounds like sacre Eliac (spelling?) joint. A good Chiro or osteo would be an option too.
My sciatic pain which led to surgery started off with minor back pain, get it sorted ASAP mate
Taurus I hurt my back a while ago, not sure what it was but I was in bed for a week. Fixed with stretches + rest. Probably caused by too a high deadlifting frequency and slightly bad form. Did you have any injuries like this (relatively minor comp with your others) before hurting yourself badly?
I'm not sure whether to take the risk and do deadlifts again.
To everyone else don't fuck around with chiros or physios if you got a recurring back problem go straight to a back and neck specialist and get him to give you a refferal for an MRI
Thats what I am hoping for, a referral for a scan. I had a week off training then monday morning i did some cardio, walking and light running, plus a little ab work and its fine, tuesday did some weights with machines for the back and some hyperextensions, that was fine also but it comes and goes.
It's definitely limited to the lumbar area, doesnt hurt anywhere else but i did notice when i do some stretching, especially the stretch where you lie on ur back and bring ur knees up to ur chest and hold it, my hammies are definitely tighter than they were before. Also I'm a tradie so today I was carrying cables and switchboards and going up and down at least 10 flights of scaffold, it was starting to give in a bit. In the morning is worse when I first get out of bed, after a bit of movement, it seems ok. As long as I keep that natural arch in the lower back happening, its fine, the second I round out slightly, thats where the pain is. Thats why in the gym I am not too worried coz I always make sure my back is always supported, whether sitting down or lying down. I have a 4.30 appointment so we'll see what lies ahead.
Appointment for a doctor? As I said above, I'm going through the exact same thing, every detail is the same, so I'm keen to know how you go. I'm planning on seeing a doctor this week with a view to getting an MRI. But does the MRI go back to the doctor or would I then need to enlist a back specialist?
I'm still lifting, I am just not doing deadlifts. I should probably sit out squats too atm (I love them too much) as my back is sore today after legs last night.
