Wherever I look I'm estimating around $330+ for just the kettlebells, let alone the core trainer which is worth like $200+

ends on 28/3/11

anyone know what the core trainer is like vrs torsonator?

i don't know what a "core trainer" is sounds like a cardio bunny gimmick to me. But neally 400 bucks sounds like a deal you could easilly pass on to me.

mmmm

the core trainer / torsonator / grappler are all basically the same design, but watch these and tell me what you think.

maybe I'm being naive but from what I've read/seen seems to be a useful piece of equipment

Main reason I'm tempted to buy it, is if i wanted the 8,12,16,20,24kg kettlebell by themselves it would cost me $499 inc shipping, with this package it'll cost me $510.15 inc shippingfor all the kettlebells and the core trainer which is $239 by itself. Even if it is useless I've only paid $11.15 more than if I just bought the kb's.

Everything the torsonator does can be repliated with barbells and dumbells (equipment i assume you already have access to.) And dumbells aren't a bad replicator for the kettlebells either. My opinion stands i wouldn't be wasting my money.

yeah i have access to all that, I do love kettle bells and when i do my PT course they would be handy to have for training clients, add some diversity and they can take a beating that I wouldn't be too keen for my dumbells to take. Your certainly right about the ability for the exercise's to be done without the torsonator, I still find it tempting if it's only $11.15 more than if i only bought the kettlebells, which I am almost certain I will eventually buy in the long run.

thanks for your opinion, I get carried away with things sometimes and it's nice to have 2nd opinion

I wouldnt buy all those light ones.... I personally just use my 64, 48, 32 and 20s..... depending on what strength level ur at you wont get much use out of those light ones IMO.

yeah but when i do my PT course a 8,12,16,20,24kg is ideal for men/women starting out, the average female client would probably never want to surpass 24kg, and if they did these would be vital stepping stones, especially being comp kb's they wouldn't have to adjust technique each time they went up/down ? I wont lie, I LOVE kettlebells so bit bias
