Well, I've tried Pete Evan's way of activating my nuts by soaking them overnight. A bunch of almonds, walnuts, and hazelnuts for my morning brekky. The morning after I checked them out and they have turned slightly bloated and soft. And not terribly tasty in my opinion. So how do you guys activate your nuts properly, because surely I must be missing something here. Do I toast the nuts afterwards to make them tasty, or soak them for less time? Any help is appreciated.
