Look ive got this problem, no matter what i eat at night when i wake up in the morning i am starving. Seriously i could eat i huge meal then half hour later have a shake then go to bed and ill still be starving in the morning when i wake up.
Sometimes im so hungry it wakes me up.
Now its startinmg to piss me off because on a weekend if i wanna sleep in a bit i cant cause im so hungry i cant sleep.

Any suggestions as what to eat before i go to bed or a different kind of shake so im not so hungry when i wake up??? I currently have Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey and ON Pro Complex Gainer as my shakes.

How much are you eating (calories) each day and for your meal? Also you should be hungry in the morning it just means your metabolism is actually running well which is a good thing.

I think you may be right with the metabolism. I never used to wake up that hungry but i have been training hard the last 6 months and it seems i am hungry every 2-3 hours.
Im 76-77Kg (up 2-3Kg in the last 2 months) 177cm, Body fat was measured at 9.8% eat over 300gm Carbs, 300gm Protein.
I dont know the exact amount of Pro, Car i am eating every day and cant be bothered to figure it out caus i eat differently every day but i do know ive never eaten so much in my life.

you need to eat more food throughout the day, probably would be a good idea to work out your calories for each meal (just an estimate). Also when do you workout late at night?

Normally i workout about 2 hours before i go to bed but lately ive been doing it at about lunch time.
I cant just stop and eat every 2 hours but i can every 3.
I work 12hour days 6am-6pm.
Smoko at about 9am, lunch bout 12am, 2nd smoko bout 3pm.
Im usually starving by 9am no matter what i have for breakfast, usually 2pieces of wholemeal toast, 2 poached egs, bowl of muesli.

What do you do for a job? Sounds like you just need to increase your calories per meal big time. Try going up 250 calories a day for a week see how you are and keep going up as needed.

Have a huge steak for tea, then 500g of cottage cheese just before bed and see how you go.

Im a mechanical fitter.
Shit half a Kg of cheese before bed???
Thats a lot isnt it??

Breakfast is literally Break Fast and sounds like you need to eat as if you have been fasting.

Make that breakfast:

6 eggs and 4 pieces of wholemeal toast
WPC, banana and oatmass shake with 500ml whole cream milk

Then have another one of those shakes an hour or so later. See how you go.

Nope. Its cottage cheese so goes down easy but is a slow digest. I'm just a pipsqueak 75kg desk jockey and I throw back 500gm of cottage cheese as an afternoon snack along with a WPC shake before workout.

I think you could eat a whole lot more if you pushed hard at it. It does get hard to eat the volume you need and loses all the pleasure in eating after the third or fourth meal of the day...

Cheers,
Michael.
