Guest
what effect on the pec muscles does a normal grip (palms facing away) dumbbell bench press compared to that of a hammer grip (palms facing in) offer in dumbbell bench presses?

does the hammer grip minimize shoulder involvement ?

Thank

With the flat dumbbell press, different hand position will change the integration of the pectoral, anterior deltoid and triceps muscles, different grips change the percentages in which different muscles are integrated into the exercise
