Yo, I want to start incorporating more front squats as assistance for my back squat and othere reasons...
I seem to be having trouble with wrist flexibility and it hurts after 3 or so reps...I've tried the cross-arm method but I really want to learn properly
Any Tips please?
Work on your wrist flexibility. I had my wrist broken twice (in cast for 6 weeks at a time) and they were not able to align the bones last time too. I can still do front squats. Funny enough it's less painful than back squats.
I forgot who it was but someone on here kindly explained to me that most of the time it's a lat/tricep/thoracic flexibility problem not a wrist problem
Front squats are great, just keep trying and you will eventually find a comfortable position. As Sticky said, keep your elbows high, or the bar will roll forward.
Excellent video Scott,thanks for that!
I have really hard time FSQuatting as well.
I will visit you soon and have a one on one session to fix a few things up.
Man that is a brilliant video...
I just did some of these stretches in the office and the flexibility is already better...I can't recall doing anything like this before attempting front squats...I'm going to give it a crack tonight after deadlifts....
