Stuff by Rippetoe I'd recommend:
- Starting Strength (on form and gym equipment)
- Practical Programming (on programming for the slow lifts)
- Starting Strength Dvd (a visual to the book)

If you only got one I'd get Starting Strength.

This is the best book on strength training I've ever read, its worth its weight in gold.
