They are tested every month. And they are on the low/normal range my last test my testosterone was 9.0nmol/L and the range today is 8.8 - 29.
 
I was. But I want to do everything I possible to make my own body produce its own testosterone. I have tried various testosterone treatments since 07. My body does produce testosterone but not enough.

Qestion is why?

Is it converting to e2. Is it primary or secondary...

At your age it doesnt really matter your levels would of very much be declined by genetic aging anyway.

Its gel or test enth for you. Reandron is a terrible product.
 
Why? That is the million dollar question.

I was told it was primary.

e2? Estrogen? I dont think so. I dont have any of the symptoms of estrogen.

I first had tablets then injections now reandron.

Thing is it does not go up that high with replacement.

I suspect I have had low test for years. But it became more of a problem 5 years ago.
 
If you have primary hypogonadism it means your testicles are getting the signal however there is a problem there and testosterone production is not occuring.

There is no way to change this besides replacement. If you were secondary then there are things to investigate, however like i said with primary it is a fairly simple shut case of testies dont work time to replace.

Ill pm you some details. Not alot of Drs in this country understand how to properly modulate hormones.

I do need the help. My God the effort and research I have done in natural testosterone supplements I could write a book.

Why are my testicles not working that has been my main question. There is testosterone there.

Is it the leydig cells?

Could be the leydig cells.. Could of been trauma, could of been anything.

What matters is we move ahead and dont worry so much about things we cant change.

Especially when natural hormone decline is going to happen anyway. Might as well get on the bandwagon and stay healthier happier and fitter for longer.

If you are willling to make the trip to sydney there is a Dr who i can refer you to. I dont know any people who deal with testosterone replacement in canberra.

Testogel is a good product if you can put up with the pain of application. There are also bioidentical creams that require less surface area then the alcohol based testogel. Then simple test enth shots once a week.

Pellets,reandron patches are all outdated practices (except reandron that is just a headache for dosaging).

My advice would be to speak to a dr about a trial of testogel.

thyroid hormones tsh, ft3, ft4, rt3
testosterone
PSA
dhea-s
Lipid profile
LFT and general check up.

I would be interested in seeing this doctor. From the knowledge you have shown for you to recommend him he must know his stuff.

I have used tablets, then injections, then pellets which popped out of the incision then reandron.

I have had a mixed bag of success. But you are correct I might as well jump on the bandwagon. Again.

Yes and no in terms of the Dr,

Hormones are a dirty word in medicine and the world alot of Dr's come under fire from medicare and endocronologist associations in regards to giving TRT therapy. The Dr can only do so much in his power in regards to what is currently the recognised evidence in regards to medicine.

Things are different in america where anti aging is a big topic and not seen as taboo as it is here. So inregards to different treatment methods, such as the use of drugs like hcg, arimidex, clomid ect many dr's have no idea about there useage. For example most Dr's i speak to think arimidex is "an anti breast cancer drug" they seem to be labeling Products with specific uses based on the company that is selling them and not looking at the mode of action the drug has on the body.

This is where a knowledgable dr will issue arimidex to combat unwarranted high E2 levels and a more convnetional dr will scratch his head and wonder why the standard protocl has a different effect from one person to another.

Dr John Crisler DO, has a protocl (a little outdated now he might update it one day) May be interested to take it to a dr you have a good repore with and discuss implementing this with them. http://www.allthingsmale.com/word_docs/TRT.doc

Yes and no... Again, You need to think of cost.

Then you need to realize that you will be living here and still need scripts from local dr's and local monitoring.

-We have to come to grips with medicine hasnt caught up ( and it never will) to the depth that allows us to control these sorts of conditions.

I would Reccomend, Dr Mark Gordon,Dr John Crisler, or Dr Thierry herthodge if you want to head overseas.

However it isnt practical unless you have indisposable income.

It is better to find a practitioner here and deal with it as best as you can. Being primary your condition might be as simple as replacing test and monitering e2. Its when you have people with secondary conditions that things start to get more difficult.

I have had another test.

My testosterone was 9.6
Free testosterone 32.8

The doctor recommended proviron a drug that I have not heard of before. He says he has had good results with it.

What are your thoughts?
 
I would avoid it personally, but thats jut me..

its an oral steroid derived from DHT. We want natural testosterone not chemically altered forms of other chemicals...

Ask him about testogel or primotestin depot, or contact the details i sent you via PM.
 
I did ask him but his response was the effects of the natural testosterone have not been that sucessful. I did not want to push the issue as this doctor and another are the best I have seen so far compared to others who wont do a thing. But yes I will contact the doctor you mentioned. Thanks mate
 


Not sucesful?

How can natural testosterone not be succesful you are simply replacing what is not being created. The idea of adding in an artificial substance instead of what the body needs seems ludacrious.

Your right not to push it, people especially Dr's do not like to hear anything but what they preach.

Would be good to see your cortisol and oestradiol...
 
You are right. I am treading a fine line not to upset the doctors who are treating me in anyway. Even if I am wary of some of the treatments.

My last cortisal test it was 465 that was in April 08 whihc is in the normal range
My Oest -17 Beta was 64 which was below the normal range
 
It seem's as though there are quite a few of us out there with the same issue...
Im 29 years old and it has been a tough 3 year journey with endless visits to doctors and endo's, mri scans, ultra sounds, countless blood tests and a lot of money wasted.
Constantly returning test blood values at 8.5nmol/L in range of (11.5 - 32). Every doctor seems to think im fine. The funniest thing said to me so far by a endo was "you have quite a bit of body hair so you should be fine!" ... I walked out and refused to pay his consultation fee.
Have done a lot of research over the years and quite frankly think I know more than these so called "professionals". Im almost at a point where I am seriously considering self medicating.

Don't self medicate... Not worth it. Best finding someone who can help you if you have a problem.
