Doing calves at home on powerrack

so standing calf raises on my power rack i have been doing them by leaning the bar against the upright rails, i don't like doing it like this because it scratches the sh*t out of my power rack and will probably wear it away over a long period of time slowly, anyone have a solution?

Use a dip belt, weight vest, sand bag over your shoulders or combination of such to let you load up the weight while not needing the stability of leaning against the rack.

thanks for answering everyone dip belt is a good idea but first im going to try what old mate said im going to use a kitchen cutting board cut into strips to do it

That's a good idea, a Teflon board will be spot on for the job.
Love a good home made invention.
