while i was out riding on track I ran across about 12 mtbers only 4 or 5 said hey. I know I wasn't in full biking gear and they were. Is that normal are people normally rude on the trails?
me personally i don't really say hi to ppl on track , i just don't see the point in saying hi to someone that i don't know and will most likely never see again , if they move over on the path or make way for me i'd give them a wave and a nod with a thanks mate or maybe even just acknowledge there presence by extending my braking fingers.
i'm not sure that not saying "hi" when you're riding on the trail makes you rude. some people are just out there doing their own thing, in their own little world. it shouldn't bother you if they don't say hi back.
