might sound like a stupid question but do cuts, bruises, etc slow down gains? i mean seeing muscle is pretty much a form of scar tissue that the body repairs causing the muscles to grow , does having cuts, bruises, etc slow down gains by making the body have to devote resources to repairing itself?

cuts and bruises no,you would need a hell of a lot of "cuts and bruises" for there to be any measurable difference in muscle building, if however we are talking about 10inch long gashes and broken bones, that might be a different story

well i was just thinking that colds and other bugs can hamper your workout so maybe other injuries like cuts and bruises could too
