What should I take? 250g of cottage cheese before bed or a protein shake with milk?

I managed to score a couple of tubs of 500g cottage cheese for $1.80 from wollies yesturday, expires on the 6th of August. Still plenty of time :P

i love cottage cheese, only just discovered it. that was prety good gettin tubs for a $1.80 that don't run out till august.

i bought sum casein protein powder off ebay to have before bed simply coz it costs less per serve. i mix it with sum whey protien as well.

Haha pretty smart switching the stickers. I always have cottage cheese before bed and again at 3am. I could buy official casein but I cant be bothered.

Lol at sticker swap

I normally have woolies home brand cc but recently tried Coles'. It's a lot creamier but less protein per serve. Could be good for those who gag at the lumps in cc.

the cottage cheese is probably better for keepin the metabolism fired as its food and not fluid (the protein shakes ya probably piss 3/4 of it out)-its only my opinion.

try mixing some of your prtein powder into the c/cheese, sounds good to me, havent tried it though

Just thought you'd like to know that you cottage cheese has expired. I like to eat it sometimes with honey, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

On the topic of cottage cheese, I usually buy the weight watchers brand cottage cheese because it's usually the cheapest at my local supermarket but if I want to bulk am I better off getting a brand that is not reduced fat?

I would still buy the reduced fat variety. Even though you are bulking you can avoid unesseccary fat, but not a huge issue while bulking.
