Two people were taken to hospital following a collision between two vintage cars near Tatura on Saturday.
Two women were hospitalised on Saturday after two vintage cars crashed near Tatura.
Shepparton Highway Patrol Leading Senior Constable Gary Russell said a purple 1934 Chevrolet and a yellow 1934 Plymouth were travelling north on Tatura-Murchsion Rd when they slowed for the Chevrolet to turn right into a private driveway about 12.45pm.
He said a blue 1930 Ford Roadster then tried to overtake the vehicles and there was a collision.
Sen Const Russell said the driver of the Chevrolet, a Tocumwal woman, 48, was taken to Goulburn Valley Base Hospital with minor injuries and released later that day.
He said a passenger in the Roadster, a Nyora woman, 53, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash.
She was hospitalised with lacerations and bruising and was also released on Saturday.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said an air ambulance was on scene, but was not required.
Sen Const Russell said the Chevrolet and Roadster were towed from the scene, while the Plymouth escaped damage.
‘‘They were at a car show in Nagambie and doing an organised observation run,’’ he said.
‘‘They’re hot rod cars so it’s hard to tell the extent of the damage.’’
