hey guys im 25 years old and was traning sice i was 17 but the past 2 yrs i havent had the motivation to go back to the gym i cant find it in me i used 2 love training and if i missed a day would go nuts i was 94 kg ripped now in 72 wat can i do to get back into it?

Harden the f*ck up.

What's this lack of motivation bullcrap, you either want to be ripped or you don't.

Maybe you don't want it badly enough and are comfortable with your current lifestyle.

If you really want to get back into it, then write some goals.

I was in a similar position earlier this year.
Was 74.5kg and weak and thin, had previously been 85kg 2 years prior.
So in April this year, I hired a personal trainer (online) and wrote some goals. Now I'm 91kg and have been quite consistent with my training for 7 months now. That is the longest amount of time I have trained without a big break and loss of interest.

So I think you should start with some goals and maybe do a 12 week challenge. They are always a good way to get going, as it's a bearable amount of time to commit and you can do a total transformation.

Good Luck.

You probably didn't feel much like training when you started last time. Once you get going, it becomes habit and you feel crap when you don't train.

Until that happens, listen to Shrek- harden the f**k up.

lol hmm
well your onli 25, so you still got testosterone levels buldging i recommend
A) watch arnie train/boxing/ fighting/ etc
B) start listening to some psych music e.g = THE ANIMAL I'VE BECOME
C) do some lite weights getting into a routine whilst just eating normal meals and slowly restricting the caffine, lazy foods, etc etc.
D) look at previous pictures of what u where, get pics of what u want to be,
get out talk to more woman!
E) join with a mate to encourage each other.

or harden the f*ck up..
nah you make some good points there. Let's hope he takes some on board and get's his arse in gear.

Hey Hulk you look like you have been training for longer than 7 months. What personel trainer have you been using!

Hi Kindred,

I've been dealing with Josh, a natural bodybuilder, trainer and educator.
PERSONAL TRAINING Albury Wodonga, Online Training, Group Training - PHYSIQUE ESSENTIALS

Did you see my beofre pic 7 months ago, I was almost anorexic.
I have trained previously, but only for short bursts and inconsistently.

It's good to just have someone there to keep you accountable.
I honestly could not do it by myself.
Physically yes, mentally no.

Yo,

Nah i didnt see your pic 7 months agao i have only been on the forum since late october. Ill see if its still around. Your after pic looks good tho and the weight you lift is also a testiment to the quality of training you have done.

Just 3 days/week.
M/W/F generally.
Each bodypart once per week.
Legs are probably most improved, 21 inches at start up to 25 inches now.

You gotta work the legs to get good overall results.

Sorry for hijack thread.

Moey, are you any closer to getting back into training?
How about starting beginning of December and getting a headstart on the herd with their New Years resolutions !!!
