I do agree with this...but I think they relied more on food than anything...very simple yet affecting way of eating back then....alot more whole foods...

Such a tiny waist. Always interesting listeining to the BB'ers of old. They all have their niche "theory" about bodybuilding. All differing roads leading to the same result. LIFT!
Although I agree with his comments regarding the negative. I see a lot of people rushing the weight to their chest and bouncing it back up.
When I trained at my local gym there was a couple of guys that use to do that allot, although they were pretty big they still did it, one time they had about 120kg on the bar and were bouncing the fuck out of it LOL, looked horrific. I was thinking WTF, they must get massive bruising on the pecs lol, new meaning to doms pffft lol.
