There is one more, the chin dip, but it can only be performed at PTC, you place one hand on the chin bar and one on the dip handle and push pull your way up.

There's too much technique involved with muscle ups. I can do twenty chins and well over twenty dips but can't do a single muscle up. Posted via Mobile Device
i think your example are created by the way those people train. the press isn't a focus for most lifters. that is why there is a weakness.
Brendon said it before that most/all can clean more that they press, to then it becomes just the press that is tested. the press is not the best show of strength. the press is a good show if strength, but not as much as the deadlift
