Barbell weight included?

Hi all,

I hope this is not too silly a question.

Is the weight of the barbell itself included in the total weight one says that they lift.

Eg; Say you bench 100kg, is that equal to 10kb barbell + 90kg weights? OR just 100kg weights on the barbell.

Cheers

Simon

Bars are different weights mate.
10kg - 30kg is about the "normal" weight of a bar.

You always include because
A) you press the bar too, right?
B) it gives the EXACT amount of weight you moved.
