Over ripened.. No good. still edible though but best used in shakes all blended up.


if you get ones like this cheap, peel and freeze in a ziplock baggie. Once frozen use in the blender with shakes.

Yes good idea but you can't leave them too long in the freezer or they go black. I know this from experience.

Banana in freezer too long cause banana to go black.
 
I remember when that cyclone came thru in north QLD about 9 years ago and wiped out most of the banana plantations. A 13kg box of banana's was worth its weight in gold.....well not quite, but it costs us $95 a box.
Pre-cyclone we were paying $13 dollars a box.
