OK i will not ramble on here...but
My right knee has been twice operated on with key hole surgery (94/99) chondromlacia Patella.
I can squat but when i get to a certain weight i feel it´s not good. Not pain but the pressure. I am not against Heavy training or programmes like 5x5..etc. However at 54 i will use more reps. There are guys who still train heavy at my age but i don´t need to, to be in shape. i am not a thonged warrior so i am not going to compete with other thonged warriors

Regarding Bench press or exercises like Barbell rows, deadlifts i just feel my muscles working with 10-12 reps. i don´t go crazy with the reps but stay in the 10-15 mark. Build wise i have always had thick solid legs from nature & a stocky build so i really am blessed in a way. I also do not need to eat like a horse...but am hung like a horse
