Is there any website that tracks which nutraceuticals are regulated in each of the major countries of the world? It's such a maze out there. Australia may have no regulation, but in another country it might be a felony to even possess. In another country, it might be unregulated but only legal to buy if you have a prescription. How does anyone make sense of it all without good and comprehensive documentation?
This is the list of controlled substances for Australia:
www DOT odc DOT gov DOT au/ws-lps-index?search_api_views_fulltext=&items_per_page=All
If the substance does not appear on this list, it is completely unregulated?
It's confusing because many countries have lists of "controlled substances" but these are normally serious drugs and fall under criminal jurisdiction rather than food and drug regulation. The food and drug authorities normally have their own separate lists for things that fall under their regulatory domains.
Finding one master website that could even try to make sense of all of the tangled regulatory claims would be very useful.
