Another PTC Beginner Program Question - Deadlifts

How much are you deadlifting and how much do you weigh?

Why did you chose 3 x 8?

How often are you squatting?

What are your goals?

I weigh 86kg, last deadlift was 91.8kg 3x8

Squatting 3x per week, see my training log.

Goal - To progress past this:

You are a beginner if you cant bench 100kg, squat 140kg and deadlift 180kg. I dont care what your bodyweight is, get bigger, its why your lifting. Bodyweight is not an excuse.

Now, if your a beginner, here is what you need to do, for between 3-12 months.

Squat 3 x 10
Bench press 3 x 8
Bent row 3 x 8
Military press 3 x 8
SLDL 3 x 8
BB curl 3 x 8

Do this 3 times a week. Progressively add weight.

I did think my workout on Wednesday was absolutely crazy.

Where can I read up on SLDL Markos?

Cheers,

Aaron.

No, thats not it, bar touches body all the way up and down, dont lock knees, keep legs stiff, its all in my video "How We Roll" that you ordered Aaron.

I cant believe the resurgence in the video, I'll have to do a new one, Max is tiny in the original lol

I didn't order a video :) Because I didn't know one existed.

Will grab a copy from you tomorrow.

Cheers,

Aaron.

My deadlifts go something like this:

Deadlift
10 x 100kg
08 x 120kg
04 x 140kg
02 x 145kg
02 x 150kg
02 x 150kg
02 x 150kg

Should i be doing it differently, would i be getting benefits from the above?
