Well This has been a thread worth while starting, some nice feed back here, I admire you guys who can live without having a drink, I was brought up and worked most of my life in a strong drinking culture.
I worked with guys who would drink half a case of beer a day whilst at work, and I am currently in a job where there is a strong after work drinking culture where people write themselves off regularly.
Luck I am not into that any more now, and I must say I feel better for it and starting to look better as well.
But on the other side I still love to have a drink, and love the feeling of being intoxicated by alcohol to a certain degree, it seems to lift my mood, it's very relaxing, and makes for fun social times in my personal opinion.
I am currently at the start of my cutting up get ripped for summer and my Thailand holiday routine. So I am on Fadi's 'lose fat maintain muscle' program, (weights and HIIT) along with a 2000 per day calorie diet.
So I have decided to do some research for those of us who still like a drink on the odd occasion, but are also on a calorie restricted diet.
Here are some drinks that can easily be incorporated into any calorie controlled diet:
Jim Beam pre mix can 375ml = 265 calories
Jim Beam Zero pre mix 375ml = 67 calories (Not a bad choice really)
Pure Blonde Premium Lager 1 Bottle 355ml = 107 calories
Tooheys Extra dry 375ml = 145 calories
I will be having a few drinks tomorrow. Will be eating nothing but seafood and steak
wats afl?
....who gives a shit about how many cals are in the drinks....
Mate if your cutting dont drink....pretty simple....who gives a shit about how many cals are in the drinks....if your really wanting to cut dont drink...and if you want to dont waste your time and effort trying to cut...
I would have thought the answer to this would have been obvious
Anyway, each to their own I guess, but if your overall calories are in deficit (or within the desired range 2000 calories per day in my case) I can not see how it would affect cutting/weight loss.
Bullshit.
Cutting is easily possible while drinking
There is no reason why it has to be one or the other.
I'm sick of debating alcohol..
And Bazza if you were really serious about cutting you wouldn't drink.
Over all our fights and debats this one comment just shows that u have no idea what so ever about what ur talking about.
Check and mate my good sir....lol.....
Are you fucking for real mate....you need reasons why not to drink while trying to drop bodyfat and maintaining/increasing muscle mass.....your more stupid than I thought....mate go for it...drink as much as you want....ur making urself look like abit of a dick.
