Ok wanting to get rid of this gut... have tried a few times but its gone wrong. I want a way that i wont lose muscle and that wont be a waste of time after 4 months and still be the same body fat.
At the moment I am eating 8 meals a day (a couple are protein shakes like pre and post workout and before bed), with a mix of carbs and proteins and fats, but fats from good sources like fish and raw nuts.
in the past the ways i have tried cutting have been:
-No carbs at all, running for 8-10Km 5-6 times a week, plus weights 4 times a week. I ended up looking like an anorexic with a Somalian child stomach... it looked bad... not even abs to show... just looked like i had AIDs.
-Moderate carbs (one meal a day, which was one serve of brown rice) and 20 min cardio 4-5 times a week, as well as weight trianing 5 times a week. Yielded me virtually no results at all. i lost 10Kg in space of 2 months but i didnt look any different.
- Eating 3 meals a day like a normal person, and running 30 min every day and soccer trianing 2 times a week. I looked thin then too but i was happy i think, i was my most confident then. but i looked too thin and people always asked if i was sick.
i want to find a way that can work to get me abs, and so i dont lose muscle like the other times. any ideas please? i would like to do this before i can get big so then i can try to bulk but maintain some level of lean instead of bulking and blowing back out to my old 101Kg self...
