Any V8 Supercar fans watching the race?

This tyre de-lamination issue is going to be a major problem I think.

One team has already brought out the cable ties to fix a busted window.

Gotta love how the drivers are only too happy to speak to the commentators just minutes after getting out of the car. Very friendly and other sporting personalities good learn from.

Going to be a very good race, as always. Go the Holdens / Lowndsey!!!
 
Holden fan here but still go for Winterbottom since we went to school together years back.
 
These fucking cars just keep going round and round and round. It's been so fucking boring... and at last some fucking excitement
 
Lowndes is currently 6th. His car is down a bit on power compared to the leaders. But he just set the fastest lap of the race!!!

These tyre issues have pissed a few drivers off.

Hasn't been much carnage which is good for the safety of the drivers. One driver had a brake line sever near the end of Conrod Straight and went on a huge slide through the sand trap and just misses the rear of another car by mm's. Scared the crap out of him.

The last 10 laps is where it all happens. Not long now...
 
Lowndes is now in 5th and under 7sec and counting off 1st place. His last 4 laps have been faster than the 4 in front. Just one falso move by the top 4 and Lowndsey will be on the podium!!!

Fuel trim is playing a huge part in the final 5 laps....
 
far from being a holden or a ford , , shells witha few million dollars of research and equipment thrown under the hood

Hell yeah, he was pressuring wincup all the way, would have been very easy for him to push that little too hard and come undone, in saying this Wincup also did a great job and had to hold his nerve with his ever diminishing fuel supply with someone on his hammer lap after lap.

Race of bogans? Because it gas a large bogan following?

Racing is racing. There are far worse sports than this. :)

F1 was on live right after it too! All perfectly timed haha

Yeah i think has happened for the past couple of years, which makes for a great day/weekend of motor sport. Pity Webber was taken out on the second corner effectively ending his race.....

7 first lap incidents where he has taken himself and someone else out this season would have to indicate he is pretty dangerous....

Although years ago Webber was a little like this as well, perhaps not as bad, but did used to push the point a little too much in the early stages of a race and take himself and others out...
 
Ford or Holden?

There is not allot Ford or Holden about those cars.

Just the shell basically.

The go Ford and Holden lines, always make me laugh.
