As the heading says!
Cardio equipment?
Bands?
Dynamic stretching?
Specific movements?
Rollers?
I'm just interested in forms of warm ups!
For me, it's dynamic stretching and band work.
Have a good weekend!

Yeah, like the title says, we want to rock up to the gym and train with sufficient intensity to provide a stimulus for muscle growth. Now the scoop of WPI post workout shake question is.. Can you feel when this actually happens??
Look at it this way. There is A) a point whereby the muscles...

In this episode, Chris Duffin revamps Silent Mike's skwaat, and teaches him some warmup and prehab/rehab exercises to improve his positioning and keep him in one piece as they work up to a few heavy doubles and singles after a big deadlift workout the previous day.

for example I plan to lift 300lbs 3 sets 6 reps in deadlift
so I do 3 warmup sets: 1 set: 50% x 6 reps , 2 set: 70% x 3 reps , 3 set: 90% x 1 and then rest and 3 work sets of 6
is that correct?
and as for bench press 200lbs , two warmup sets:
1 set: 50% x 6 reps , 2 set 80% x 3 reps...
Before my weights training what warmup should I do otther than specific movements such as using a lighter weight?
Before my HIIT, sprint or hill runs what would be best, a slight jog?
Also what shold I warm down with?
I have been wondering when something goes from being a warm up to being a working set.
Does anyone have any opinions?
If i did 10kg less weight than my intended working sets would that be a warmup or just another working set?
Hi guys,
For 3 years I trained light, then heavier, then heaviest.
Eg. Bench 60kg/10 reps, 70kg/8 reps, 80kg/4 reps.
Recently I flipped it: 80kg/6 reps, 70kg/8 reps., 60kg rep till fail.
I find it much better as you are able to lift the heavy weight straight away as your muscles are not...
