Hi All,
I am currently investigating the purchase of the Iron Edge Economy Bumper plates, they appear to be a solid product but my only concern is the size of the center metal insert. The plates I have seen loaded on the sleeves of iron edge and force usa bars are approximatly 2-3mm too big...
Any idea where I could buy some really thin oly plates?
They'd be for a pair of dumbbell handles I have lying around. Just want to be able to load them up as much as possible.
As the title suggests, i'm after people's opinions on the best value for money 25kg plates in Perth, I'm not too concerned over rubber coated or hammer tone, as long as they are 450mm or less and Olympic sized opening. Just looking to add some extra weight to my home gym and don't need more...
Won an auction on eBay and it contained weight plates I didn't need. The chains are the last pair I have from a thread that I made a while back.

Hi guys, just wondering if anyone's able to comment on the quality of Cyberfit's bumpers? And how they'd compare to, say, Garage Gym bumpers plates?
Thanks!
I have two 10kg no-name brand bumper plates I use for deadlifting. They are the only weights that touch the ground when I deadlift and drop ~150kg. As I get stronger and approach 200kg I'm worried I'll break them.
e.g. one half of my barbell looks like:

I think I'm getting old and fussy, I currently have mis matched plates and need more 20's so I'm thinking of just buying new.
Cheapest I can find so far is Gym garage on the southside at 2.50/kg for rubber coated tri grip.
Would be getting 250kg then the fractional stuff being 2.5's and 1.25's...
Anyone know where to get these in Brisbane?
The plates I find in the stores up here are the grey easygrip type, or with some sort of pattern on them. I just don't like the look. I'm after some like the guy in this vid is using - JAMES HENDERSON 10 MINUTES TO 6 - YouTube
Good vid, btw...
I'm looking to get a set (about 200kg worth at the moment) of rubber coated olympic plates (don't want bumpers, i'm not looking at doing any olympic lifts)

I was just wondering if anyone knows if the 20kg plates from Sams Fitness or Gym & Fitness were the correct diameter?
If...
