I remember back in the mid 80s, my Sister who is a School Teacher and was a Fitness Fanatic explained how Schools had banned P.E. Teachers from getting Students to do Burpees. I think the reason was Lower Back Injuries - the throwing the Feet out behind the Body on going down.
The obvious...

What would be a good option for adding dumbells to my home gym?
My wife wants to start working out and with her bad knees I think we could construct a pretty good workout for her using mostly dumbells.

Hello,
I ask this for one reason... internet seems to have a variety of forms which are all classified 'correct'.
Most forms I notice are pretty much feet pointing forward (away from you in a straight line) then squat down and up.

Can anybody help me diagnose this problem. When i'm in the deadlift starting position, I notice that my right knee is a couple of cm's in front of my left knee. Could this be a problem with my glutes?
Since I first started with my new trainer a few weeks ago, I have been getting niggling pain in my knees. I have traced this back to increased levels of squatting!!!
Its a weird ache that only happens when I move, kind of a sharpish pain on occasions but by no means constantly overly painful...
I'm about to start wrapping knees every now and then for my training..
Can someone knowledgeable (sticky, von?) show me how to wrap my knees SAFELY? I've youtubed a couple methods but wouldn't mind hearing opinions from those on here...
I have 2.5m wraps
Cheers

With the help of a psychologist I've given up drinking and am maintaining a healthy diet.
I need to shed some weight before bulking up and I'm looking for some cardio that won't stress my knees.
Something I...
I have been having knee problems when I train. I refer to running and also leg press. As it has been a while since I did leg press and I cannot remember the pain accurately enough for a description, I'll just describe what I get when I run.
On the outer side of my knees, between the thigh and...
