i believe it helps your digestive system, and it was being pushed as the mother of all recovery/ growth aminos back when I was training seriously. Not sure if this has changed in the eyes of trainers these days?

i have been doing some research and keep getting told lots of different information, was wondering if glutamine and carnitine is actually made locally, like some stores say, or if it is really all made in china
Reason i ask is because i recently bought 2kg of it from "real nutrition" on ebay and it smells a little like cheese. No other glutamine i've had has ever smelt like this..and it's expire date is not for another 2 years..
