I competed in my first novice comp over the weekend and had a blast, didn't realise how fun they day was going to be.
Now I've tasted it, I wouldnt mind trying some real comps and as I've never really looked into it, there are obviously a lot of federations to choose from.

So I was thinking of doing some sort of BB comp last year but at the time powerlifting was my main focus. I'm not a tad injured for powerlifting and would like to go through the process of a bb comp.
Absolute noob here. I spoke to a guy at work who said ANBA has height and weight classes...
Im a nationally qualified (USA) lilght heavyweight and I know NOTHING about the federations here.
The NPC in the states had a doping policy which was never enforced.
Much like the IFBB.
Ill make this simple.
What fed would you compete in if you werent natural?
Im also 40 and want to do one...
