    Strength and volume

    volume is king for my bench press. when i am doing the most volume i can before breaking, that is when i make the most progress. specifically competition bench and slightly bench variation volume. possibly true for dead and squat for me as well, the threshold is just far far lower.

    i lold whole heatedly. Most powerlifters i know are lazy as shit though (except when it comes to training). I was once out for lunch after a training session with a certain prominent ex PA powerlifter who got parked in. I was so disappointed when he didnt deadlift the car out the way.

    D1cko What would you recommend for someone who loves Glenmorangie to try? I haven't tried a whole heap, but Glenmorangie 18 yr old is probably the best whisky I've tasted. I've had the likes of laphroaig which just knocked me on my arse.

    To beat a deadhorse senseless. I was just about to resign-up with PA as there is a comp in June i was interested in. Their membership has gone up to $165, assumingly for GST. For a point of reference, i looked up the GPC membership, which is $80. I'll probably go with PA anyway as i am brain...
