    Yes - but having used both training and comp bars of comparable manufacture dates, i can say unequivocally, the training bars knurling are not as aggressive. From a practical standpoint, this is something you can actually notice as a difference between the bars.

    Mainly for certified calibration and tighter mass tolerances matey. Also prices in Aus is ridiculous due to the middle-man fees. I cant see these bars costing more than AUD$500 from the factory.

    Main difference between eleiko comp bars and training bars is the knurling depth (training not as sharp) and the calibration weight. Comp pars are 20kg +/- 20g i believe, training bars arent quite so accurate. Depends where your focus, i'm biased to powerlifting as thats what i do. To me a...

    Get the ABC and do oly lifts with it. if oly lifts are then your thing, look at getting a second bar. You'll be fine with the abc until you are moving 120++ Trust me, i'm a doctor.

    I thought the back of my neck without releasing the load. It provides me a decent stretch without losing control of the weight.

    I am an ok bench presser (165@88). I prefer behind the neck press, as it requires additional shoulder stability, which in turn makes my shoulders not break from bench volume. Why not both?

    True, you are far less likely to find GPC members at a "PA gym", but you more so hear of PA lifters who train at "GPC/any" gym. Perhaps us PA lifters are more judgmental on the whole?

    I like to lift with people who help to make me stronger. They aren't necessarily in PA.

    If he does the GPC comp, then becomes a member of PA, then does a PA comp, that is fine. But if he does the GPC comp while being a member of PA, he can be banned from PA.
