    Just wanted to follow up on this.... I followed your advice and worked through it and didn't have a problem during the session. Wonder how sore I'm going to be tomorrow or the next day thought, time will tell.

    Thanks. I have watched Magnificant Mobility, any dynamic stretches in particular that you would suggest? Sorry to be a pain, but any exercise in particular that you suggest with the foam roller? Hopefully we can use this thread as the reference for butt-wink and can then point noobies like me...

    Since I have this issue as well, I read this thread with great interest. Its always hard to work out who to listen to when theres conflicting answers given (in other threads etc.). My physio basically said to just keep going but don't go to a depth where it occurs, stop slightly before it...

    Just started doing deadlifts and squats again after recovering from an injury and have a sore right hammy. Just wondering what is the consensus on DOMS like this? I'm scheduled for a session today, but should I do it? Work through it or wait for it to heal ?

    Stretching

    I'm undecided. I generally don't stretch because I'm lazy. I do warm up though, either a walk on the way home before going straight to my gym room or I get on the cross trainer for a bit. Early on in the session Ill do a few light sets before doing the main working sets. Don't know the answer.

    No offense but they are completely different sports. There is no one in the AFL at 140kgs. Not saying it couldn't be done, but there is none.

    2011 lifting goals

    By the end of 2011 I'd like to be able to squat 140 3x10, bench 100 3x8 & deadlift 160 3x8. Not sure if thats achievable but got to aim for something.
