    why is powerlifting not more popular?

    Powerlifting will never be popular because all our food is wrapped in plastic, people like David Beckham, the beeb and that soccer player I can't remember are held up as physical ideals while a beard and fixie while smoking an ironic pipe seems to be what most youth aspire to these days.

    Bench, 3x8 Brocurls. 3x8 Some triceps thing, 3x8 13 post recovery beers, argument with the builder who is developing next door and some potato chips.

    3 sets, 8 reps squat, 2min rest 3 sets, 8 reps bench, 2min rest, fail on last set. first 5 were crisp then 6 was like another 20kg on the bar, no safeties so I bitched out. 36 degrees in the shed. Not fun.

    Still getting back to normal from holidays and grand finals and bathurst hangover. This is still on the to do list as soon as I don't feel like throwing up and can get out of bed for more than an hour at a time.
