    Did running get more challenging as you went through a growth spurt? Do footballers, cricketers, swimmers, gymnasts, etc. suddenly become uncoordinated during puberty? He will probably adapt to changes that still happen quite slowly just like everyone else does.

    Oh, and keep in mind that sprint cyclists can still do distances like you might do for fun whilst still maintaining good lifts. They just won't handle them as well as enduro guys. IIRC the sprint cycle coach I know commuted into the city (~30km) every day along with other training.

    Andrey's squat is intense, so fast on the way up. I don't know about the rule but they should have the same effect if you just put them on afterwards.

    I entered, missed four lifts, went dead last in my class by over 100kg. But I also got my goal of a 500kg total and learned a lot from the experience. Would recommend these comps to any first time lifter, Markos and the other lifters were all very supportive.

    What are your thoughts on jerking without a split? I'm not sure what it's called but you sometimes see people catch the bar in a sort of squat.
