    I'm a soldier, currently teaching new soldiers how to become telecommunication technicians. I really enjoy getting in the classroom. It's still good after 9 years, but I'm trying to get to ADFA to study Civil Eng and become an officer.

    Just lift (relatively) light until it comes good then go back to the heavy stuff. If you aren't already, do pushups, situps, chinups and bw squats in a circuit (not too hard, you want muscle fatigue not cardio to be the limiting factor) followed by a hard 2.4km run probably 3 times per week...

    Well generally yes, you should trust people with letters after their name. It's just exercise science (and nutrition somewhat) that are a bit mixed up.

    I think the point guys are trying to make is that curls won't help your squat because it's not your hamstrings that are weak. At a 100 kg squat, everything is weak and technique most likely needs work. Doing curls won't fix that. And it's not the amount of reps either.
