    Constant Fatigue and Brain Fog

Just wondering if anyone has had any issue with being constantly in a state of fatigue and foggyness. - I am tired all the time (now matter how much sleep I get). - I am constantly sore & don't seem to recover. - I get injured all the time (even when doing all the warmups, not overlaoding...

Ptc Sydney - Whats been happenin

Tell Stipe to get his arms over the stone when loading. Lifting it from his lap with arms under will most likely cause bicep issues when he gets into the heavier stones and they start to slip. Arms under is more for shouldering lighter stones.

    Are they gimmicks

I think it depends on if you are a raw or geared lifter. Yes they can help a raw lifter, but I think they are more to mimic geared lifting without have to put the gear on. Note they are also good for strongman as we pushpress stuff overhead so hammering the lockout is what we need. If you...

BODY BUILDERS/ pro athletes that have died very young possibly from steroid use.

It's not the drugs that kill these people it's they and their abuse of these drugs that kill them. If a heroin addict od's he has killed himself. I have know addicts that live normal lives and live healthy because they don't use to extrememes. It's the person that kills themself not the drug...

BODY BUILDERS/ pro athletes that have died very young possibly from steroid use.

I think its quite funny how steriods get blamed for killing all these people, yet they are used every day by doctors to save a lot more people. I think HIV people have used them successfully to treat their condition, people with Musclar Attrophy problems. Athsmatics used a type of steriod...

weight lifting belts / back support?

My personal opinion now is that belt allow you to lift more weight with poor form. And can entrench that poor form, and the end you get injured. My front squat drop 30kg by loosing my belt, to me they make a huge difference to my total. I think all training should be beltless, however if...

Post pics of your home gym

I think the americans call it a football bar, awesome for incline benching and floor pressing. Also use it to mimic log for overhead. My old man is a fabricator he made that, the axle in the pic, a log, yoke and farmers. Much cheaper if you know someone handy with metalwork.

    Gyms in Adelaide

Depends what you want. If you don't need the cardio stuff and classes then Fortus is a great place. Smack in the city centre has everything a serious strength person would want (squat racks galore, comp benches x2, SSB bars, chain, bands, boards). Dumbells only go to 52.5kg though, if that is a...

    Fortus adelaide

Just watched your squat. I think they red lighted you cause of all the metal gear you had on. They passed most of your benches cause you had a titan shit.:p

    Fortus adelaide

I remember, you competed back years ago. That way your first meet back wasn't it. Your bench only?? I know Steve and Tlyer do some benching on saturday mornings at fortus you should come down some time. The more the merrier.

    decent program without bench/OH?

Use a SSB (safety squat bar) for squats if you have access. I used it for about 6 months after my impingement issues. Works a treat. What caused your problem?? Mine was bench. Even in full recovery I still won't try to bench, just don't want that time out again.
