    Noob question..

Anyone who is regularly competing please: 1.) Do you pause bench or you touch and go or a little bit of both (everyday workout)? 2.) Do you use straps for dead lift (everyday workout) for 5's for example? Any advice and opinion would be highly appreciated, thanks.

    How to deadlift

OK, someone please help me out here. Until last Monday when I first saw a footage about my deadlift, I thought that I do it in a correct way. After watching the video I think that my form is terrible and I need serious development on that (I start with hips too high and because of it my balance...

    Beginners program

Uppon2 : Either I misunderstood the whole concept or I am freak and unable to perform the requirement of this novice program. For example I determined the bench test weight as 90 kg. According to the excel sheet I have to be able to perform 3 x 8 reps with 127.5 kg within a month; which...

    Beginners program

Very well said, thanks... but I am far from it, I have been doing sports for 20+ years (my introduction) I designed this program based on my experience in BB + what I picked up from you, guys. Its an 8 week program, I will either complete it according to my plan or die :-) After that I will...

    Beginners program

Yep, that is what I feel. (that is why I asked if it is worth the effort because I found it effing hard; but I've got it: that is the way it supposed to be. Thx).

    Beginners program

Nothing wrong with it, I like the feeling of hardwork; but I can't smile after 5x5, that is all. My concern was if it is effective enough to be worth the effort.

    Beginners program

I noticed that no one is doing 5 x 5 sets; it is only me. It brings up an obvious question that: does it make sense to suffer from 5 x 5 in major exercises (sq, dl, b) or I just make a fool of myself? Seriously, I am not having fun with 5 x 5; is it worth it?

Second week: I dead lifted 155 kg 5 x 5 today. I know its not a big deal but it was my 3rd dead lift session in my life. Shame on me :)

    Belts

I read it somewhere (from a competitor) that he does not use belt for squatting because he even had a cracked rib from it once.
