    BCAA's

Agree - BCAA are really going to be a waste of cash. A good protein supplement and maybe some creatine is really all you need - and even then its stretching it to a point. It is very cliche but if diet is good and training is good then supplements really don't need to get involved much...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Agree - 1 Fed would be the best thing in Aus - and I have had lengthy discussions with other regarding this aswell. But just like any business you need to cater for a large market and to be honest alot of people are not going to change life choices due to there being only tested events. 1 Fed...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Everytime PA does a drug test it costs $900+

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Mate where is this money going to come from? PA have tried to get money from the Govt and have been denied. I again totally agree with what your saying but you have to have a realistic view on the matter....

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I do agree with this and your last post - but you have to agree and understand that the Govt see powerlifting really as a nothing within Aus and as shown through PA's pleas have not really wanted to put any resources behind it...which you can understand....

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Do you honestly believe that if there was ONLY tested feds that drug use would automatically go down?

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I do agree with this statement too a degree - i.e the IFBB ban some use of diuretics - and if tested and shown that these are being used athletes can and have been banned....

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

And also at the end of the day if there were no non-tested feds drug use in tested feds would be huge....

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Your thinking 2 big picture....Powerlifting feds in Aus are a drop in the ocean when it comes to sport....yes I 100% agree in a perfect world there would not be drugs and everyone would be clean and on a level playing field - but this is not the case nor has it ever been the case....I respect...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I do agree drugs as a whole is an issue - but I don't think a Powerlifting Federation that is non-tested needs to take it upon themselves to sort out the nationwide drug issue. They are delivering a product suited to peoples needs, just like PA are doing. The only way GPC could "address" a...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

Again this statement does not make sense. Please tell me how drugs are an issue in a non-tested Powerlifting federation where drug use is allowed. Also please advise how this issue is beyond me, I am not sure if you know my history within the industry but I have been in the thick of this and...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I don't understand this statement? Why would a non-tested fed need to address the issue of drugs? Also what does it have to do with PA what other feds are doing or not doing? I am a fan of what PA represents but the longer they focus on what other feds are doing the more they are going to fail...

How is this for leg power: NFL combine standing broad and vertical jumps

Question is what position should he play? He is sort of at that awkward size where is not really suited to any position just yet...I'd prob say at the moment - maybe punt return...

How is this for leg power: NFL combine standing broad and vertical jumps

You would think Aus would pump some money into the club to advertise it within Australia - NFL has a huge following now, plus most/all NRL supporters would be interested - I know its like pumping money into a mint when it comes to an NFL clubs - BUT I believe that is how he will get his "start"...

How is this for leg power: NFL combine standing broad and vertical jumps

I would be surprised if he ever starts a game - I would say if he does "start" it will be due to marketing and advertising more-so than his ability to play....he will def never be a regular starter....there would be 1000+ guys playing college football that would be currently better athlete than...

    0ni

What? This has to be one of the stupidest comments I have ever seen. Back on topic I believe 0ni; could be one of Australia's best deadlifters in his weight range - not sure about squat/bench yet.... Unsure why drugs are being mentioned still - yes 0ni is taking drugs, saying that though we...

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I also believe that some athletes are simply scared to take PED's these days due to the Armstrong style stories that have come out over the last 10 years.....

[Rugby] Rugby League & Rugby Union discussions.

It really does not surprise me - I just love how theres always something at the start of the season and it just makes me think if this is just a TERRIBLY GOOD marketing campaign run by the NRL lol....

    P.A., G.P.C. and CAPO differences?

I def agree that testing is getting better and there is more crack down on drug use - at an Elite level - though you never know if its better or worse - athletes are bigger, stronger, faster than ever before - yes training development, nutrition is better and that does play a big factor - but...
