    Bruce Lee weight routine

Calm down I never said anything bad about Lee. The routine posted above is sensible, but it's not the only one Lee ever did.

    Bruce Lee weight routine

Keep in mind that Bruce Lee was known for trying everything and anything, he even had many isolation machines and random contraptions designed for him. He also tried every supplement and chemical he could get his hands on.

The protein I get costs $80 for 2.5kg of WPI. Say I have 60grams of it with a litre of milk after training, that ends up costing $1.90 three times a week. If a cheaper brand ends up costing $1 a drink three times a week but it tastes like shit or I have to spend time mixing in cocoa then I don't...

Ahh ok, makes sense. I've starting using Protein Direct WPI, tastes good, reasonably cheap, never had any bloating or anything like that. It's NZ whey. I haven't noticed a huge difference in recovery since I started using it, but I eat lots of meat, eggs, and milk anyway. If beef jerky didn't...

Apart from taste and amount of protein what makes one better than the other anyway?

Another thing to keep in mind whilst I do 50 billion reps tonight. Sheiko is good for getting the movement pattern down. I'm not going to try to emulate this just yet, but I was amazed at the arch some of the lifters were able to get. I had to do a double take when, I think it was Jacinta...

Thanks, I might have to experiment with that as I find I sometimes don't keep my shoulder blades together.

That's a pretty impressive record. Is there a reason you guys don't get hand offs or is it just because you're both so bloody strong?

Slippers are like $20 and would be similar. Slippers grip really really well. If you already have vibrams I don't see why they wouldn't be but who knows.

817.5kg total  That's pretty good for a a tuning-up session! I don't know if this is the right place to ask but what are your plans for the future? Are you going to compete raw or are you still hunting that 1000kg equipped total? Or both?

Was an awesome day, a number of records were set and there were heaps of quality lifters. Good work to the forum members who competed, off the top of my head it was Dancelot, Austy, and Strong Enough, and Spritcha was a ref. (sorry of I missed anyone.) Was nice meeting everyone and putting faces...

Nah they are fine to lift in, I don't find the canvas that supportive so I assume low tops wouldn't be better. You can always not lace them all the way up. The sole is great for lifting, will feel heaps better than bare feet.

I have hi-tops, they are fine. Chucks don't offer anywhere near the level of support that the Do-wins do though, so don't expect that. Have you considered Asics Matfles if you want a flat sole? Maybe ask Dancelot or some of the guys at Melb Uni gym about them.
